I.T. Applications Roll-out Steria Learning Services has more than 25 years experience in delivering IT training to a wide range of clients in both the commercial and Government sectors. Clients upgrading applications or moving to new desktop operating systems need to be able to take full advantage of the new systems as quickly as possible in order to generate return on their investment. Steria Learning Services delivers the skills required to enable end users to use the new systems quickly and effectively. Training is tailored to fit individual client requirements and can range from simple help cards for minor upgrades to a full programme of classroom sessions for major changes.
For example, a client upgrading from Microsoft Office 2000 to Office 2003 may not necessarily justify a programme of classroom training, but may warrant running a number of workshops to address the differences between the two applications. Running these workshops in conjunction with providing either on-site floorwalkers to answer individual questions or a virtual tutor service on the end of a telephone, may well be all that is required for such a project. In some cases where the changes to the application have been minimal, we have designed and developed a handy little “Application Differences” card which is easily carried in the pocket as a mini reference guide. Alternatively, if the client were to adopt a brand new desktop operating system, such as Microsoft Vista, there may well be a requirement for a combination of the above plus also a number of formal classroom sessions. Steria Learning Services will provide the client with support prior to going live through training needs analysis (TNA) during rollout through floor-walking and post go live with the virtual tutor service. Whatever the requirement, Steria has the expertise and experience to deliver the right combination of training required to ensure the roll-out progresses smoothly and is adopted by the users in the shortest possible timescale. Steria has experience in successfully rolling-out multiple types of IT application, such as Microsoft office, Electronic Document and Records Management applications, New Desktop Operating Systems, Mobile Applications on hand held devices and many more. |
